You can definately have dual citizenship with US/Canada.

Thats true, you can but the USA doesn't encourage it. JAJ posted a link to the official american website that explains this but i can't find it now, maybe if JAJ reads this he will be kind enough to post it again.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and congrats...we sent our passports off on Monday and just got confirmation from USPS that they have been delivered to Buffalo. We enclosed a stamped addressed express mail envelope for their return...Depending on whether or not Bufflalo extends our medical validity (expires Nov 5th) we will land in Ottawa, Toronto, or Halifax for a few days and then early next year head to vancouver where we intend to settle. So much to do but all so excitig...

Surely you will get your passports back before Nov 5th ???? is Buffalo a lot slower? or am i being optimistic thinking mine will be about 2 weeks from London ?
