We took a load of foodstuffs with us when we went over in 2004 - PG Tips teabags, Bisto, custard powder and pink Nesquik powder amongst other things. The boxes were listed as "dried foodstuffs" or something on the packing list. They wanted to know what the ingredients of Bisto were - which I read out over the phone - and were fine, no problems, no container pulled apart. Apart from the teabags, we then imported various goodies from britishcornershop.co.uk - again with no problems.
