Default Goods accompanying/to follow lists

Hello

Please can some advise if these are the correct forms?

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publicati...res/b4-eng.pdf

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publicati...laires/b4a.pdf

Are there any other forms?

I did check wiki but the links seemed to be broken. Am in a bit of a muddle and would appreciate any help

Many thanks, OB

The forms are correct. Some fill them out before coming others just have an excel spreadsheet or inventory list of goods. CBSA will fill out the B4 forms for you on arrival. Yes we appreciate them being filled out but not legally required as long as you have a list that we can read and understand what the goods are.

Hi Former Lancastrian, I hope to be able to land in Toronto early March this year. I will only be staying a month before coming back home to try and sell my house etc. I won't be leaving any goods in Canada on my March visit.
Can I ask you if I should take a completed Goods to Follow list with me and a Goods Accompanying list on this March visit? It will be hard to give accurate quantities of boxes say of clothing at this stage as it would be up to the shipping company who pack the boxes when the final move happens to give a more accurate figure.

Thank you

Granma Nessie

When you land inform CBSA that you are only activating your PR status only and that you are not establishing a residence as per this and are returning to the UK to sell your house.

Who are Considered Settlers?
1. For the purpose of tariff item No. 9807.00.00 of the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, settlers mean all individuals who enter Canada with the intention of establishing for the first time a residence for a period of not less than 12 months.

Tell them you will be bringing your goods at a later date and show them the above from this D Memo
