Default Going to Vancouver through Toronto....question

Hi everybody,

I am going to Vancouver to make my PR landing but the ticket I am getting has a connection through Toronto. I am wondering if I need to make a landing in Toronto, or will they allow me take the connecting flight and land in Vancouver..??

If I have to go through the landing process in Toronto, then how long does it take for the customs and landing process as I will be having one hour of connection time.

Thanks,

Regards,
CK.

You will have to go through the landing process in Toronto. Depending from
the time of arrival and how many planes land around the same time the whole
process - getting out of plane, waiting in line for initial custom clearance
(the longest) and then immigration process and custom clearance - may take
anywhere from half an hour to couple hours. Make sure that your have at
least 3 or so hours between your landing and connecting flight to Vancouver.

You will "land" at Toronto, I doubt if you will have sufficient time to land
and get your onward connection.

Thank you so much Mr. Andrew Miller and PMM for your prompt replies, I changed my ticket, now I have 3 hours of connection time.

Also, as I am flying through Air Canada, when I called them, they told me that if I miss my connecting flight because of customs and immigration process, then they will put me on the next available flight with no extra charges.

Thanks again,

Regards,
CK.
