Do a forum search and you should find some posts as I've heard people mention them before.

its quite amazing that we can fall so easily into the trap of not seeing beyond our noses

in response to this thread i googled global visas and found 9 seperate complaints regarding the company...

they appear to be a world leader in immigration representation - and in business for over 18 years ????

comments about going bust n starting again ..myth or fact ???

if the above was fact then do some research with company house - i did, and records show that 18 years ago they commenced as global visas - they still trade as global visas ! 9 offices throughout the world. hardly a con ??

anyway, a wise man will always tread carefully so hear this.

9 offices, say a minimum no. of successful applications per office per year (at very damm worse ) 100 each

so say they only had 9 offices for last 5 years at 100 per office per year

9 x 100 = 900 per year x 5 years = 4500 happy people placed !

and say only half used the most powerful bad mouthing tool in the world to give a bad name to something, that means roughly 18 angry heads because of global visas not getting them a work permit

4500 happy and 18 not at all .. can any brain box do the percentage sum ??

wish i had a success rate like theirs

anyway, 3 friends of mine used them for oz last year and 4 others to ontario , all happy and in work

and as you can guess im currently enrolling with them to help my transition, why wouldnt i ?

years ago one would ask - do you want a skoda or a merc ??

good luck to those who are also making the move

I've just done the same out of interest, and found hundreds of bad reviews, not just 9. The fact that there are whole blogs and websites devoted to complaints about them isn't great either!

The OP can easily make their own mind up from searching the forums (their negative reviews on here far outweigh the one good one that I know of unfortunately), and by looking on Google. The most oft repeated complaint about them on the forum seems to be that they charge a huge amount for TWP applications - given that they're not allowed to charge for helping to find work, that the LMO (which the employer has to apply for anyway) is free, and that the TWP form is only two pages long (and most people just get it at the airport so don't even have to fill in that form)!!

I'm glad that you're pleased with them though. Personally, I'd suggest that the OP steers clear of the big agencies that deal with immigration to numerous countries, and picks somebody that specialises in just Canadian immigration to get a better service. JMO though.

Out of interest, what visa route are they doing for you and what sort of cost if you don't mind me asking? I'm just interested to see how they compare to other consultants fees.

Not sure about them, but I am personally using Abrams & Krochak. So far I'm happy with their service ...
