Default Getting visa for spouse - paperwork

Morning,

I have pre approval for a study permit, which will be issued on arrival in Canada.

I now need to begin the process for applying for an open work visa for my husband. I’ve have a look online & have come to the conclusion that I need to begin with the IMM1295 form.
Has anyone completed this process that could point me in the right direction?

Many Thanks. S

Are you a UK citizen and is your husband? If yes he can apply for one at a port of entry based on the back of your study permit. No forms to fill in just pay the fees at the POE. Will need to also apply for eTA.

Thank you - we are Irish citizens, been living in UK for 20 years. Is this the same for Irish citizens? S

Yep. Just get it at the POE when you arrive, much easier and quicker.
