Not quite you are only allowed 2 IEC visas regardless. So if you applied in 2012 old system and 2013 new system then that's it.

There is not much point in making an application for an ACRO until just before applications are open again, as they have limited validity - they cannot have been issued more than 3 months prior to submission to CIC, as you already know. If you are concerned about the time scales then I would suggest paying the extra for an expedited service.

CRB is not accepted because CIC require you to obtain an ACRO.

IEC 2014 is not going to open before the end of the year, so perhaps you should just enjoy the summer and not worry about it yet!

Thanks I am looking at January to submit the form for ACRO.

I would enjoy the summer if the UK ever had one - thats why I want to leave

Try moving areas, it's been hot and sunny all week here (Berkshire!). And no rain for a month, which I've been cursing every night as I've been watering the new trees I've planted.
