Default Getting Married - Change to AINP Status

I've been in Alberta for 18 months, shortly expecting my PR to come through. I'm on the employer-driven stream for AINP.

During the last 18 months I met a girl...we just got engaged. Highly likely we'll be married somewhere in the sun this coming Xmas!

Question: How does this affect my employer-stream PR application? Presumably i only need to declare a change in status once actually having tied the knot. I need to go round the flagpole to renew my work visa for January 2011.

Is there anything i should know about the paperwork? If we get married in December does my marrying this lady automatically give me my own OR status that means i can work for anyone?

This may have already been answered elsewhere, but thanks in advance anyway
