Hi all,
I am a grad student in Canada, and concurrently a part-time college instructor, with 12h/week appointment for Fall and Winter term (January to April, it is). I teach one couse per term, whether full-time instruction is considered 2 courses per term (at least at hour research-oriented university).
I've worked in this capacity for 3.5 years (8 months a year), and will teach for 4 more months before submitting the application.I figured that my teaching would add up to a year of full-time experience, but now I am not so sure.![Confused](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Can someone help me with math
? Do the officers take into consideration that not all departments in Canada offer courses May-August? Or would they simply go with 37.5*12 months and then just compare number of hours I've taught? Is here anyone from academia who could share their "points story"?
Thanks in advance!
