Flagpoling

I have received passport request from Buffalo for my work permit (finally)! :thumbsup:They are also processing my PNP case.
I have the following questions:

1. Can a friend of mine (Canadian) drive to Buffalo and drop off/pick up my passport instead of me? I do not have US visa so can't do that myself.
2. If (1) is possible, do I need a power of attorney or something similar?
3. What kind of documents do I need to cross the border (Niagara Falls)?
4.Any suggestions or experiences on crossing the border at Niagara Falls? What should I be aware of?
Thanks guys.

Hi,
Ive mailed in my PR and WP applications to buffalo together around 25th of July.
Ive got med requests + AOR about 2 weeks later. It looks like my WP application was put on hold until I was medically cleared, I guess. So it took about 1.5 months in my case to get the PPR for WP.

Anyone can suggest anything about the flagpoling???
