First arrival processing

After collecting our visas and paperwork from London we have been told by the High Commission we could just go over for a 'holiday' to get things stamped and sorted and that is exactly what we are going to.
So can anyone tell me how long it will take to get through the immigration process once we arrive?

Thanks

It could be 15 minutes, it could be 3 hours, depends how busy Immigration and the Airport is when your flight arrives.

we landed in calgary just over a month ago and it took us longer to retrieve our suitcases from the carousel than get thru' immigration! no questions just stamp, stamp and a "welcome to canada"!
