Fingerprint delay in citizenship application

I applied for Canadian Citizenship at the beginning of March.
Received the booklet view of Canada a few weeks later.
Middle of August I got a request for fingerprintings.
I made those and they were send in the last week of August.
How much time should I wait to get my exam date?
Thanks

I applied in August 1998. Got my citizenship booklet early summer
1999.
Got fingerprint request august 1999. Send results in October 1999. Got
exam March 2000. Got Citizenship April 2000.

I think if you get fingerprinted it takes longer because they check
you more thoroughly but I have no evidence to back this up other than
hearsay...
