Default Finding Jobs once PR is granted but before landing.

Dear All,

Greetings.

How hard is it *get* jobs in Canada, in the IT field (specifically, in
data & communication network integration), once you have got the
Canadian PR permit but without being physically there?

Consider these factors:
1. Without a North-American experience.
2. Get = Be offered employment.

Does the fact that the PR has been granted make it any easier?

I would appreciate a feedback.

Thanks.

WBR,
Ben

It's unlikely you will be offered a job in Canada before landing - most
IT professionals have a hard enough time securing a job even once they
get here. It takes alot of time and effort (or so I am told). It might
be easier when employment picks up ~2006.

Have you ever thought about self employment? Okay, so it's not ideal
for some people, but it can be alot more rewarding than a typical $14
per hour 'immigrant' position. There are thousands of small businesses
always looking for great value, why not be the one to provide it?
