OK then:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37023.pdf
First thing this checklist says is that you must complete and sign the 'Application for Permanent Residence in Canada' form (IM0008).
there's no where to sign, am I missing a sheet.. ?
ps. Anyone know if a copy of a bank statement is an acceptable form of 'Proof of funds'??
Thanks for the help

Hee hee hee, I had exactly the same panic attack about 3 weeks ago! here is a thread somewhere...
According to Mr Miller, the schedule 1 - background declaration and additional family form are part of the application and the place to sign is on the background dec (I think - am in internet cafe with no way to check!)
Good luck!

I only signed on places which said to sign: I think the documentation is just confusing.
Worked for me so far, though I had to send in about five different statements as I have several accounts (current, ISA, deposit, etc).
The one mistake I did make when applying was not putting 'n/a' or crossing out all the questions that didn't apply. Fortunately I only did it in a couple of places where the answers were obvious (e.g. date of parents' death, when they're still alive), so they didn't send it back.
