Default Fees for PR application under Family Class

I'm a little confused as to what fees we have to pay.

It's clear we have to pay under Family Class $75 per application for sponsored application, plus $475 Principal Applicant fees.

My question is, do we have to pay the Right of Permanent Residence as well which is $490.

Obviously, this is a lot of extra money to pay, so I want to make sure we are getting this right. If anyone can confirm, that would be great.

Thanks

LinLaz

Yes - you will have to pay the RPRF and as a sponsored spouse you should do it now. It is only required of adults.

If you think Canada's are high, take a look at the US http://tinyurl.com/ycgdmke or the UK Remember they are based on cost recovery, as it supposed to be paid for by the persons who us it, not the general population.
