Default Fee has been deducted from my Card but no reply

I've applied for Canadian immigration on 2nd week of April 2010 and on 18th June 2010 Canadian Immigration has deducted fee for me and my spouse from my card, but still I've not received any mail or file number, can any body tell me how long normally they take to reply you back.

It can take a month or two, so no need to worry at all. Just keep checking your emails, particularly your spam folder in case it's gone in there.

If they have an email address then they will use it - faster out and cheaper to boot.

I'm still waiting too but they seem to be a little slow currently anyway!

Bit strange. Perhaps they returned your app to you but it has gotten lost in the post?

It is hard to explain this sequence of events - too few details of the case type etc.

Here are the details: I applied for Canadian immigration on 2nd week of April 2010 and on 18th June 2010 Canadian Immigration deducted fee for me and my spouse from my card, but I didn't receive any mail or file number and finally on 27th Sep after 3 months they have return the Fee through my card, but still I've not received any mail or letter from them. I don't know what went wrong.

I've applied for FSW (Information Technology Manager) from Dubai. I'm originally from Pakistan.

Still a mystery unless your application was to be refused or returned for completion somehow. I would email the post and ask what is up with your application because it is closed and over at present and you have no explanation for decision letter.
