fax number for CIC Ottawa?? (Medicals)
Hi
Please, does anyone have the fax number for the section that deals with medicals at CIC in Ottawa?
I have their address but would like to email them to chase up my medical as the results havent been sent to Vegreville yet (student work permit application)
I have a job subject to getting the visa and worried that they may offer it to someone else who can start sooner

I phoned the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100. Carmen answered the phone.

I got someone to make some calls for me - as i am hard of hearing I cant use the telephone - They checked the system at Vegreville and when they last checked on the 10th May the medical hadnt been received by them. So somehow I need to check when it arrived at Ottawa.

To chk if medls have reached Ottawa, try phone #s: 613-941-6641, 613-941-2170
Try to call early in the morning at 9 am and request them they will give the info.

just to thank you for that number. I got someone to ring for me, eventaully they returned the call to say the medical resuls are through and i should get my workpermit very soon. thanks again
