I there, I was directed to you, at this site fia another website, i really hope you can help me out, I'll try to keep my story short!

Firstly, in April 2007 I came into Canada, and got stamped for
6 months, and married my girlfriend of over a year, who now is obviously my wife She is a Canadian citizen, and she
also has 2 kids, both also are Canadian citizens. Ok now you no the basics.

How much does my wife have to earn to sponsor me, because I no
having kids changes
the amount?

I haven't adopted the children this is something we intend on
doing after and if I become a resident, do they have to be put on the application?

Thirdly and lastly and most complicated, in October, my 6 months ran
out. I now have an extension for another 6 months, until we get the money and papers
together to apply for residency. If I leave the country that visa does not allow me access back in, it bcome void! Is there anyway I can get a visa or papers allowing me to leave the country without having to go
threw immigration on the way back threw? Because now I'm here I
don't want to be turned back just because I left to see family! What can I do to make sure I do gain access back?

Also i forgot to mention, I am a British Citizen, England
Any help would be so kindly accepted

kind regards
Richard

Hello, Richard. I don't know the answers to all your questions, but I've learned from this forum that there is no income requirement when one is sponsoring a spouse.

As long as she is not collecting welfare, except for disability, then she does not need to meet the Low Income Cutoff figure to sponsor. Although she can't have sponsored a spouse in the last 3 years, nor be a undischarged bankrupt. She must complete the financial evaluation.

Immaterial to Immigration. They are already are citizens or residents I assume.

Thirdly and lastly and most complicated, in October, my 6 months ran

You can't, if you leave, you take the chance that you will not be allowed entry, unusual for visa exempt citizens, but it has happened. I suggest that you get it in gear and submit the sponsorship and the application.
