Default Family of Work Permit Holder

Experts please advise:

Can aprimary school going son of a laid-off worker continue his
schooling, if parents extend their status( as visitor) awaiting PR
from CIC, Buffalo?
Does he need to extend his status as student than visitor?

If the child has a student visa, then you should extend it as student visa
see:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/minors.html Since you will be visitors
he will require the student visa. If he does not have a student visa now,
you will have problems keeping him in school.

Thank you Mr.Murray.

Is it same for student who has been studying in canada for past
2years? He is already in school, it is only continuation till the end
of the academic year. Also he has CSQ( took it for applying PR).
