Family sponsor
Hi,
I'm currently a Police Officer in the U.K and have an auntie and uncle that live in Canada who would be willing to sponsor me for P.R.
Would it be possible to get P.R down this line and then apply for a job in one of the Canadian Police Services?
Thanks,
James

Re: Family sponsor
An aunt/uncle relationship would not allow them to sponsor you.

There are several provinces that allow sponsorship of a niece/nephew under their PNP program.

OK, no idea on NWT, but AB definitely allows sponsorship of a nephew under the PNP program, so have a look at the website.http://www.albertacanada.com/immigra...ly-stream.html
Only downside is the timescale (takes around 4 years), but for a lot of people it's the only way to get PR.
Good luck.
