Default Family Class - delay entering Canada?

Hi!!!

What if the procedure is over (medical examination and criminal checks
done), but the applicant can not leave to Canada yet ? At least not for a
longer period of time until he concludes some business in the home country.
What's the possible delay ?

Regards
Lis

If person doesn't land within validity of PR visa then it will expire. In
such case new application process will have to be started all over again. PR
visa's validity cannot be extended.

What you mean by "procedure is over"? Has visa been issued? If not then it
is not over yet.
