Extra points for second degree?
I am applying for express entry. I have a BDS bachelors degree in dental surgery from the UK (5 year degree program). I am about to complete my Masters in Orthodontics from a US university (2 year degree program). Will I get extra points for this and if so how many? Thanks

Re: Extra points for second degree?
Maybe maybe not. The education points are as follows:
Less than secondary school (high school)
Secondary diploma (high school graduation)
One-year degree, diploma or certificate from a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years
Master's degree, OR professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (For “professional degree,” the degree program must have been in: medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, law, chiropractic medicine, or pharmacy.)
Doctoral level university degree (Ph.D.)
Your dentistry degree could already be seen as a professional degree and as such at the same level as a masters, for points purposes, anyway.
As aviator says you only get points for the highest level of education not combined.

Re: Extra points for second degree
Bummer! Would I get extra points if I get a provincial license to practice as a specialist before actually coming over?
