I will have a work authorization upon entry to Canada this July. I've
already noticed little fees cropping up because I am either not a
citizen or a permanent resident (monthly bank account fees and extra
$$ on the "land transfer tax" during our house purchase). We've also
had to make a deposit (which we will get back) to one of the phone
companies because we are non-residents.

Are there any other continuing fees/extra taxes/costs/deposits that
will surface because of my non-resident/non-citizen status?
