Extra 10 points

I need the extra 10 points to qualify on independednt skills. I have an uncle
(mother's brother) in Canada, so that should give me 5. He has his own travel agency.
He can make me a job offer. However, I am a technical sales specialist (polymer
additives, etc). Would this offer get me the final 5 pints I need?

Any comments will help.

Thanks and cheers, Kushal

I believe that your brother would have to have the job offer validated by HRDC
and that would require that he show that there were no Canadian citizens or
permanent residents in the local job market who could reasonably do the job (they
don't necessarily have to do it better than you could, they just have to be able
to do the job).

There are certain fields where there is a known shortage of people to fill jobs, and
which validation is automatic but I don't believe that travel agency work is one of
those jobs.

Jonathan Fon is an unknown quantity at this point
Default You are priviveleged to expect that five points

Kushal, accoding to the new law, you may be offered an informal job that does not bind the potential employer to hire you. And the employer need not go application for VALIDATION at the Human Resource Development Canada HRDC.

Hope that you get success.

After June 28th, assuming that Bill C11 is implemented, this may entitle you to the
five outstanding points. At present, the Regulations do not specify the degree to
which the job offer must be consistent with previous experience and/or education. On
February 9th, after the publication of the 2nd "tranche" of the Regulations, this may
be more clear.
