Extension Denied
I have a friend who is also Brazilian and she had her application to extend visa denied. The reason was very silly: she forgot to include photocopies of her passport in her application. Instead of requesting additional documents, they simply denied her extension for not having a valid travel document. The problem is that now she is out of status and not sure what to do.
I think she'll have to reapply and ask for restoration of status ($200!!!). Is there any other way she can stay in Canada?

Restoration of status (providing that she is eligible) is the only way now.
