Default Extending Work permit, no mans land?!!!

Hi everyone, hope all is good.

I know your all looking to enjoy the long weekend, but hopefully someones having their quick 'net' fix before leaving

Two things i need reassurance on more than anything.

Firstly, my current work permit/visa runs out in July 2011, i have applied for an extension (i have an AINP) but this won't get processed until after July. Do i have to leave Canada? I have been told i don't, but i have no documents or 'proof' of this. What do i have to do???

Second, On the permanent residency forms, it's asking for photos of my mother, father and brother, however they are not immigrating with me. Do i have to still submit them?

Any help will be much appreciated, have a nice weekend, stay safe.

We are also in the process of PR (AINP) application (sent Nov 2010) and our TWP's expire in August 2011. We have sent off to Vegreville applying for an extension of these, as we were advised by HR. You don't have to leave Canada as you will have implied status (as I believe). My HR requested the postage receipts as proof of our TWP renewal application.

From memory once we have implied status then you cannot leave the country as you may not be allowed back in.

On our PR application we only sent photographs of us. Unless it has changed in the past few months, no photographs of anyone not accompanying you are not required.
This is all a bit garbled, hope it makes sense to you.

Are you sure it's asking for photos of them?

There is space on form for them, and on the checklist it asks for 4 of me and each family member. Will send forms without photos and try my luck.

The photos for each family member will only be for those accompanying you, I would expect.
Good luck with your application.
I was told that it is 6 - 8 months before Buffalo will contact us after receiving our application for PR (AINP).

Family members is defined as your dependents - not anybody else.
