Default Extending Parent & Grandparent Supervisa

Hi,
Any info or advice welcome.
We have been in BC now for 21 months, so it's time to apply for an extension.
Has anybody done this?

I have a slight problem with my passport expiry date.

We wish to extend until March 2017 (ie another 2 years ), but my passport runs out in March 2016.

We go on vacation in Jan 2015 so we need or passports for that, so by the time I return, and apply for a passport renewal, and receive it back, my PGP visa will have run out.

Will CIC accept my application on the understanding that I will send my new passport as soon as possible, or would it be ok to apply for a 1 year extension initially and then re-apply for a further 1 year. ?

Thanks
Brisue39

CIC will only issue documents within the passport validity date so you would need to extend twice.

Thanks former Lancastrian.
You told me what I thought, but hoped I was wrong.

There is no Washington passport office now, you need to send to the UK

Thanks Nikki Dreaming and Mikeypm for that.
I thought that you both were wrong, but as per usual , I'm wrong. My son and daughter-in-law sent their pp's to Washington and the pp's were renewed pretty quickly, but I found a website that says that as from August(?) 2013 all UK pp's have to be sent to Durham.
Thanks again.
