Strange dilemma....
You wait ages for a bus and then two come along at once!
We have an Express Entry ITA under CEC and now today.....Provinicial Nominee status!!
Who'd have thought - having a choice of immigration route!

Re: Express Entry First Draw
Yeah, but you know how things change....eldest D has decided she is staying in the UK and youngest D is joining the Royal Navy (in Logistics), possibly even as early as May
We've told eldest D that she has a month to decide for sure, otherwise the EE application will be submitted.
Youngest D will Land at some stage on leave after we get PR and then 'apparently' her time in the British Navy can actually 'count' towards PR time. It did for my nephew when he was in the Army anyway. They might have changed the rules. But it will be what it will be!!

Hi
1. Her time in the British Navy doesn't count towards her Residency Obligation, she still has to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5.

Not sure how my Nephew managed it, but he got Citizenship and I'm sure he was out of Canada for longer than the Act required at the time...

Re: Express Entry First Draw
Busy afternoon yesterday - medicals and fingerprints etc now done!
Got receipt acknowledged yesterday morning for UK police check application, so that should be back in a week or so.
Most letters from past UK employers received. Only two left to come.
17yr old DD UK medical is at the end of the month.
All looking good and on schedule...
