Hi,
i am applying for PR as skilled worker. We have been in Canada with
working visa since 2001. I have submitted my application in March and
in few weeks I have received an acknowledgement. Now we have received
the medical forms, but no request for additional documents or the RCMp
check.
Is this usall?
do they started to process our application? or they ask the medical
first before they consider it?

What did the letter from the visa officer say about the medical
examinations?? It happens often enough that medials are issued immediately
but sometimes they say to wait for 6 months before taking them, and other
times they give you 60 days to do so! You will be asked for an RCMP
certificate when they notice you did not supply one.

thank you for you reply,
the letter from the visa office says that I have to do the medicals
and I have to do it within 90 days.
this is the second letter what we got since we applied (AOR first).
does this mean that our applicaton is basically approved just we need
to complete the medicals??

YOur application is approved in principle and no interview is likely unless
something turns up in the background check. Congratulations.

Congrats for the fast processing. I was wondering whether you applied
at Buffalo ?? I also applied in March, was not expecting anything to
happen for few more months. Glad to know that consulate is even
processing applications from March,04 ( if my assumption is correct).
