Default Experts, please help...

Hi everyone,

I am a 25-year-old British citizen, resident in the UK all my life and currently score 72 on the self-assessment for skilled workers. I completed 13 years of education at school and did a four-year university degree. One of the four years was spent in a work placement, but I was still registered at the university as a full-time student for that year. Without the year out, the degree awarded would have been a different one (Business Administration as opposed to Business Studies), so it's not a trivial thing.

My question is, if I take and pass a part-time Master's degree, will I qualify for maximum points for Education (I currently score 20, but would I get the extra five) - because I already have 17 years of full-time education? Or do I have to make sure it's a full-time degree because my year out during my bachelor's doesn't count as a year of education? The reason I ask is that I can take a Master's in six months to one year (ie fairly quickly) which could be a fast way of getting enough points to give my application a better chance (I'd end up with at least 77 according to the self-assessment tool).
