Default Equate qualifications 1st or SW app?

I apologise if this is covered elsewhere but I haven't found it yet. I am an Educational Psychologist and am in the process of getting the necessary transcripts in order to equate my qualifications in Alberta. Is it wise to do this before submitting a formal skilled worker application? Also, how do I find out if there is much/any demand for EP's in Alberta?

Many thanks in advance for any help or advance.

Experts will be along soon (I'm not one) but your profession, as I'm sure you know, is on the List (NOC 4151), so far so good.

This means you can (assuming you meet the detailed criteria) apply for FSW1 without a job offer. But the list will change on June 30th and there's no way you can get everything together before then (unless of course you already have ).

There's no need to mess about with equivalency stuff at this stage although you should contact the Provincial Medical Association in Alberta asap because you may need to jump through some hoops after you arrive.

Good luck.
