Question english testing

hello I am new to this site, just starting out on the immigration process. I have not taken the language test and need to write a letter to prove my English even though I have my City and Guilds, does anyone have any idea how to compose the letter or are there any draft letters on this site?

If you are from an English speaking country, have taken all your schooling in English, then you just state that in the letter. If not, take ELITS.

This option is risky. It all depends on visa officer's judgement. He can give you 8 , 10 , 12 or 16 points. If you take IELTS and score 7 and above in all 4 modules. You will definitly get 16 points , no questions asked.

S/He doesn't say it, but when s/he mentions guilds, I think that the poster originates in the UK.

Hi PMM

Thanks, yes I am from the uk. I have got City and Guilds in engineering and communication skills so hopefully I will be ok.

That's not normally an issue for those who come from countries that are English speaking (in CIC's opinion).
