Now let the waiting begin........ the last non specific draw was December, hopefully not too long before the next one. I'd suggest keeping an eye open on potential jobs, just in case there's a chance of gettng here on a TWP or as a nominee - what's his speciality / subject? https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/jobsearch/...ticle-34920178

The Atlantic Provinces Pilot project (presently a semi-permanent route) for example..

make sure you meet the employment requirements listed in the National Occupational Classification
  • Your job offer doesn’t need to be in the same field as other jobs you’ve had.

we’ve applied to Ontario as that’s easier for me as a nurse to transfer to, and he is a senior lecturer in linguistics

I presume you mean you have selected Ontario as your Province of choice - which means no other Provinces are likely to invite you.. not quite the same thing as applying to Ontario ( https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-...e-program-oinp ) - does he speak French well enough to get a decent mark - there's an Ontario Provincial Nominee program for French Speaking Federal Skilled Workers

jobs
