Default EE Entry Profile - Education

Hi Guys,

Finally got my WES results and completed our IELTS test, so I'm now filling out our Express Entry profile online. However - just wanting to double check something with you wizz kids on here.

So I'm entering my information for my Bachelors Degree - I did 1 year part time doing my foundation degree and then I did 2 years part time completing the final year of my Bachelors - so where it asks you 'Complete/full academic years (required)', I am to put 1.5 years.

I'm just questioning it as my WES evaluation came back as Canadian equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years), but obviously as above I only spent 1.5 years at Uni.
On my transcript from Uni I've got 'Prior Working Experiance' which counted towards my full uni degree.

Thank you

Just a personal opinion but I would put the number of academic years the degree course should have been in total if full time assumedly 3 years) because they might question whether a 0.5 year counts as a full year.

On the guidance note when you get the application it says 'You must be in class at least 15 hours per week during the academic year to be considered full-time. This includes any period of training in the workplace that is part of your studies' so perhaps you qualify anyway for full time if your work continued to count towards it? You could always add an explanatory note to explain :-)

I honestly can't remember what I put down for mine but I did my degree part time over 5 years. I think it's 3 years since with most UK degrees, 120 academic credits is considered 1 year of full time study and 360 credits form an honours degree. That's what BA's and BSc's amount to regardless of how you actually earned that credit. Sometimes it can be from conversion courses, professional qualifications or work experience etc.

It won't matter much because you've already been approved for a Canadian equivalency but I'd agree it's worth mentioning in an LoE.
