EE - Education Selection????

Hi,

I'm slightly confused when looking at the education selection for our express entry profile.

If you are a nurse can you select Masters or a professional degree required to practice in a licensed profession?? Nursing is licensed???

Thanks x

Loads of occupations are licensed, even something like a hairdresser, but only certain occupations qualify. The list says 'medicine', but I take that to mean a doctor with a degree in medicine rather than any field related to medicine. But you can double check it here -

Thanks, it would be nice if it was a little clearer wouldn't it. I feel some of the questions on EE are so misleading and can so easily lead to incorrect answers. It also seems crazy when so many provinces are desperate for nurses that nursing isn't included in licensed professions, or even midwifery!

It is clear if you look at the link above - sorry, but it seems it's definitely only those with a degree in medicine that come under the 'professional degree' section, but you can put your own degree in and see what it says.

please remember though that the CRS points system is in no way related to what jobs are in demand.

these points are mearly to reflect the level of education someone has.
