Default Education Points - Definition - Skilled Worker

[RE-SENT WITH NO FUNNY CHARACTERS]

Hi - I am new to this forum. I don't know if anyone can help

My wife (spouse to the Principal Applicant - me) took a 2 year (full
time study) diploma in Medical Secretarial Studies, with AMSPAR,
London. She passed all the theory and all the practicals except one
which meant that she was awarded a CERTIFICATE In Medical Secretarial
Studies. Will this earn her 4 points in the adaptability criteria? Is
this counted as a trade certificate? What's the definition of trade
certificate - some would define a trade certificate as having to
involve an apprentiship which hers didn't.

Also I have a bachelors degree from University and am a qualified
Chartered Accountant in England. The training for Chartered
Accountancy here is pretty much similar to that in Canada. ie 4 year
training/apprentiship with a firm involving block release for training
and exams. The level of study and examination is easily the level of a
Masters and most probably more. As principal applicant, would I be
able to get 25 points for education or 22 because it like a trade
certificate or worst case scenario 20 points because it is not
recognised at all?

Thanks

Richard Leigh
