Hi,

Up to now I have tracked my outland PR application (spousal) via my sponsor´s details and I can see up until the day it was received in London (as well as confirmation that they´ve received my medical, too). Does this mean that I will have to keep checking the status via my sponsor´s personal details throughout the whole process or should the CIC have sent me my own personal number for tracking the application from the London stage?

As I have never received a confirmation letter from Mississauga, I´m not sure whether it contains my own reference number on it for tracking purposes (on-line it said "Decision Made" and that a letter was sent - and I later confirmed it by calling them, but 2 months later the letter still hasn´t arrived).

I´m asking this question as I am checking my Status every day (via my sponsor´s name, d.o.b., and country of origin). It arrived in London a month ago and still hasn´t changed from Received to In Process and I´m wondering whether I´m tracking it in the correct way??!!!!

I have only ever been able to check mine via the sponsors details. My application for PR was received in London on the 9th December and only started to be processed on the 24th february. Don't know why there was such a delay, but there was. it was very frustrating, and as you can see from my timeline below, the whole process was completely drawn out for me - for no apparent reason.

So do I!! Ás long as I know that I´m tracking it the right way, then I´ll relax a bit and wait for it to move on!! (easier said than done ).

It is very hard waiting, especially if you see others being processed and not you!! Still pretty early days for you though, so
