HI All,

i have heard a number of things about the above, any recommendations? I know there is different lead times between them, but apart from that who is the best?

I have heard different ones evaluate them differently, e.g. level NVQ in some may be evaluated, some might not, some might say its school level and others higher.

Your thoughts are much appreciated!

Hi from our experience my wife is currently having her nvq's 2 & 3 assessed. We used icas we had a bit of messing about with city & guilds London. It took them four months to send correct information on the nvq's over to Canada. Finally in November we were in the queue for assessment but at this present time there seems to be a long wait. It takes six months from being placed in the queue to getting your report ours is due the end of March. I would suggest looking around for time frames hope this was of some help

As said above, I'd just go with whoever is quickest. WES is only about 10 days at the moment, others have much longer processing times currently. For NVQ's, it tends to depend on the subject, they're not normally considered 'academic' so wouldn't be assessed, but it's worth a try if you need the extra points.

Can't speak for the other companies, but my experience with WES was pretty good & I'd recommend them.

I went with WES and they were fine and everything was done in about 2 weeks.
