"We received your application for permanent residence on December 01, 2000.
We started processing your application on November 20, 2000.
We sent you a letter on January 24, 2002 about the decision on your application.
Medical results have been received."
The above is my status information copied directly from CIC. Another information is
that they required my ROLF in April/2002, and I submitted it on 3/May/2002. Could
anybody please explain me what is the next? or more accurately, can or how long can I
get the visa usally?
The application office is Singapore.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely Jian

The next step for your case should be issuance of the visa but you have not given all
of your case details such as category so its hard to be certain. Jim Humphries,
former visa officer

Thank you for the reply first. My category is indepent class. I'm not sure whether
there is other information needed. Or maybe, I'm a China citizen, the Processing
office is in Singapore as I worked there before. and Currently I'm a fresh BSc
graduate from a New Zealand University seeking the job around. I hope the information
provided is enough for your help. Thank you very much for that again.
