E-Client

I know that most people don't have much faith in E-Client, but does anybody know what day of the week does it usually get updated? I read on the CIC site that it gets updated weekly, but I couldn't find what day of the week.

It is usually updated on Mondays.

I don't know the time on Mondays.

Ideal time to check would be late Monday night or Tuesday.

Yep, Monday is the day apparantly. It will indeed be a magic Monday when anything changes on my e-client.

I used to visit E-Client three times a day, six days a week. But I when noticed that nothing has changed in my status even up to this day (still IN PROCESS), it was easy for me to break such habit.

Actually, my story is also very funny. When i sent my application to CIC Buffalo, they did'nt enter my DoB right. I mean, they entered wrong month. Instead of Sept they entered Aug. So actually, even until this month their system was use to say , tihs information is not found in our database giving my a heart attack that they have'nt started working on my application yet. I have even sent my medicals to them and still eClient is doing the same thing... however, yesterday i put the wrong DoB and finally it displayed the message "IN PROCESS " :)

I have a similar story too. In my case, they used two of the names in my passport for a last name and so for a long time, whenever I entered what I put as last name in the application, I used to get that error message " cannot recognize you from the information you provided" . It used to drive me nuts, until finally I entered two of the names (actually, by accident:-) and it worked. In process now.

Our visas arrived yesterday and E-Client still says "in process". But I have heard that it does not change until you have actually landed. A pretty hopeless system really as it tells you nothing other than acknowledging that you are on their books.

Good luck to you all.
