Default Dual Qualification and work experience

Hi all,

I filed my case for canadian immigration under "Skilled Worker Class Immigration:" 3 yrs back july 2001
At that time i had B.E in civil engineering & had 1 year structural designer experience. At that time i also had SCJP(sun certified java programmer) certificate & teaching as java instructor paid part time.
I declared above things in my application three years back.
After that in sep 2001 i take admission in MCS (master in computer scince) evening program, & continue my job of civil.
but in may 2002 i got job as software engineer, & now working as "Engineering manager" of software Development.
Since than i am working in computer side.

So know i have 2 yrs civil exp. + 2.5 yrs CS experience
B.E civil + MCS (CS)

but i dont tell them yet that i am working in Computer science line from last 3 yrs & also had CS Master.
So if i inform them about that, than:
1) is it make +ve impact or -ve one.?
2) Secondly, if i inform them about my new line(degree + job) than will they give marks of master + 4.5yr exp. ?
3) Thirdly, 3 yrs back i filled old form with category (civil enginer)
Now i am going to filled new form , so can i change my NOC to 0213(engineering Manager) ?

PLease help me to go in right path.

Thanks

technician and worked for a couple of
years in the engineering/building. About five years ago I changed careers
and moved into IT. Although I have attained a few industry certifications in
IT I do not have any formal university/college qualifications. I intend to
work in IT in Canada. My question is: can I claim points under Factor 1:
Education for my civil engineering diploma and under Factor 3: Experience
for my IT industry experience, or do they both need to be within the same
industry? If I cannot claim the points as above, how far back may I go to
claim experience in a given field, i.e. may I go back five years and more to
claim experience in civil engineering although my career is now in IT?

Thanks in advance

It does not sound like you are performing the dutues of an engineering manager. The visa office will ask for updated information in due course. I would wait until then to advise them of your new career.
