Doing medical before request.
Hello, I have a current PR application in the system (inland) and have just been issued AOR2, to that end I have booked the medical (not done with application owing to posted internal PR processing times..it would have expired based on those times) as things are moving faster than I expected.
Does anyone have any experience of submitting a medical done before the request but after you have applied? My main worry is spending the money then CIC not being able to match up and having to do it again.
Thanks in Advance

Hi
1. You should have done you medical prior to submitting the application for "inland processing" as the medical doesn't expire if you remain in Canada.
2. Do it now, you don't require an invitation and you will save time, rather than waiting for Immigration to contact you.

Thanks for the reply...dumb question...does the doctor just need my UCI to ensure it "hits" my application?

I done the same thing, and have just received the email for me to get our medicals done, I guess we can just sit tight knowing they have been sent to CIC as our UCI's are on the medicals.
I may, reluctantly, call the call center and see what they say. My family an I are hoping that it wont make a difference, its has only been a couple of weeks since we had ours done so hopefully they have just crossed paths in the systems.
Let us know how you get on with yours.
