This is probably a ridiculous question but our flight from Manchester to Toronto is currently delayed by four hours (and counting) due to a technical fault with the plane.
Had it been on time we would have landed at Pearson at 2pm local time but the earliest we can now land is 8pm, although it’s actually looking like it will be much later.
Do they have immigration officers capable of processing landings 24 hours?

At Pearson yes, I hate to break news to you though but Pearson has limited landing slots for night time ( I think it is 11pm) so that might be an issue for your flight
Sorry. I got caught once going the other way with Heathrow's curfew

Thanks. No idea what we’re going to do then. Might have to rent a car and drive down to the US border tomorrow. Deep joy!

Update - the flight has been rescheduled for tomorrow at the same time. Bummer losing a day of our holiday but the crucial thing is that we will be arriving at Pearson during daylight hours.

sorry to hear that, are they letting you leave the airport? I got stuck at Pearson for 8 + hours without being able to leave unless i cancelled my flight

Hi
1. There doesn't appear to be a landing curfew at Pearson, if you look at the Arrivals for tomorrow, there are flights arriving all night. Seems to be lull between 02:00 and 05:00

I edited to change curfew to limited landing slots (within about 2 minutes of posting)
as per
https://www.torontopearson.com/en/co...g-restrictions
if you scroll down to Night operations, they limit the number of slots and you can bet there aren't many spare up for grabs !

Thanks for the replies guys, they’ve put us up in a hotel at Manchester Airport and the rescheduled flight leaves tomorrow at the same time so we should be fine to do our landing in daylight.
Some compensation is hopefully in the offing...

Their flights are fine. Basic but comfortable enough and you get luggage included as standard and a meal with complimentary wine in economy. Decent IFE system too although they annoyingly add commercials before everything and you have to sit through them.

I'm thinking of using them for landing once my application is finalised. I've used BA and KLM in the past but prefer a direct route if possible.
