Does score change over time?
Hi
I am applying for immigration to Canada
After filling the application i realized that I get a score around 440 pts
but in few months I will be a year older than i am now so I will get less points for age
the question does my score remain constant as the time I applied or it will change over time?
So my chance is getting lower and lower every year?
Thanks

Re: Does score change over time?
It will change over time, yes, so you will lose points as you get older. Points are only 'locked in' when you actually apply for PR (so if, for example, you had a birthday 2 weeks after applying for PR, that wouldn't change your points).
But at 440 you should get an ITA straight away, so hopefully won't need to worry about any approaching birthday.
HTH.

I notice in the most recent Federal Skilled Trades Program draw the CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited was only 199. Does the CRS score work differently for this category? i.e. why did they not require 415 like the Federal Skilled Workers?

It's the first FST only draw there has been.
Because trade qualifications aren't evaluated by the agencies (so you can't get points for them unless you have a certificate of qualification which gives 50 points).
