hi we have received our passports back from the uk and are planning to flagpole at u.s. boarder on saturday .what do we need to take with us

many thanks for prompt reply we are already living in canada on twp and submitted goods list when we arrived also already working here,brought house ect ,do we need proof of funds many thanks again susie q

Not if you are on a TWP. Take the Goods list with you, they probably were stamped as for duration of stay, i.e. your wp status.

I am not sure this applies to you, so you may have to flagpole, however if you applied under skilled worker and are here on a work visa, you know longer have to flag pole. They changed the rules as of Sept 08 and you can phone the number on the bottom of the letter you received with your passport to find the nearest place to "land" without flagpoling. The US has got wise since changing passport rules, and can turn people away at the border if they think you are flagpoling, and you risk lying to them when asked why you are visiting the US.
