Default documents expiration date??

Just wondered if there is a time limit on documents sent away for a FSW application?
I have had all my documents for about a month now, so dated mid january...but am still waiting for my AEO to come back so I can send it all away.
Hopefully its 3 to 6 months or something along those lines...I'd hate to have to get them all redone.

Thanks,

Garry

For the police certificates there will be some expiration, don't know in your case. I sent employer reference letters 4 or 5 months old, and school documents were about 10 months old.

This was almost a year ago and I don't know if there are any new regulations regarding this. Also my process was done with the Canadian Consulate in Brazil.

there are specific time requirements for police certs (not older than three months at time of submission) and language test results (one year)

others are less time critical, like university transcripts and old job letters, but i'd be careful about submitting an old-dated letter from your current employer

I forget the exact term CIC uses, but I think job references etc have to be "recent" or "current", but this isn't defined. I don't think a few months will make any difference at all, but I wouldn't send anything more than a year old unless it was impossible to get a newer version.

Obviously language tests and police checks are subject to specific age limits.
