Default Documentary evidence of years spent in elementary school

Hi All

If an applicant has two bachelor's degrees (one from a univ in USA and one from a univ in Singapore) and has applied thru Singapore. Is it necessary or crucial that he submits also documentary evidence of his years spent in elementary school. Will CHC accept his submission that he did spent 6 years in elementary school (which is the norm for the country) for purpose of calculation on years of education.

[ I believe it is not uncommon for many working adults to have misplaced their elementary school leaving certificates/report books]

No one is going to ask a university graduate for his primary school certificate. And, the norms for his country will be known in the visa office responsible for it's citizens.

Mr Humphries,

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I take it from your reply that if the norm in that country is 6 years for elementary school, the applicant does not have to submit documentary evidence that he actually spent 6 years in elementary school (as part of his total years of education). And that the attention is actually paid to the number of years spent in post-secondary school education.

You will not be asked for your grade school graduation certificate or other evidence of attendance.
