Any electronic which ranges from 110v-220v e.g. laptops would be fine and u will need to get a converter for the plug~~
Electronics which are 220v would'nt work

This has been discussed ad nauseum in the lifestyle area.

Basically...TV...wrong system NTSC not PAL, but high end stuff probably will be dual format anyway, so you should be able to feed a signal in form a stand alone satelite or cable box.

Its 120V here, so you need a transformer, which can be done for the UK 240V stuff, but that can sometimes be buzzy, and there are power consumption limitations. People fall into 2 camps, Group one..If you have high end stuff you probably enjoy a high quality experience, and will not want the buzz. Group two...I payed a lot for it and im going to keep it!

Its 60Hz here, not 50...or is it the other way round. This causes timing problems on some stuff. Some stuff will say specifically on the panel if it is compatible with 50/60Hz, and some stuff (PCs for example) have dual 120/ 240V power supply anyway.

I might be wrong, but Ive a feeling FM radio frequencies are at different spacings, so a UK digital tuner might not work?

High power use stuff doesnt tend to like transformers.

You pay your money and take your chance. Personally I enjoyed shopping for new stuff, but wish Id brough my expensive old Thorens Turntable. Others have bought their stuff with them and live with the limitations of transformers, and use there old PAL TV for there old PAL videos and playstation.
