Do I need a police security clearance?
 

In order to complete my file to immigrate in Canada, they could ask me
for police security clearance. I spent about 18 months working in US
(a J1 VISA) like NON-RESIDENT ALIEN. Do I need a police security
clearance from FBI? If yes, how I can get it over the mail (I do not
have now a visa to get back in US) ?

Yes, you need FBI clearance. Call or mail FBI and they will provide you with
proper form and instruction.
