Default Do I ahve to return the VISA ?(Right of landing Visa)

My visa came last month . The date it says is 17th of May . I got it on 30th of May.
I also got married on 24th of may . i never knew it that visa will be coming so soon.

Now is there any possiblity that I can go to Canada. Its a big decsion, leaving a good
job in India etc.

Also , My visa came from USA ( i applied there ) . I am currently in India.

How can I take my wife along with me now.

I have been suggested to apply first for my wife and then go . But dont know how long
thta would take

Please advise if you have any idea how to handle this.

Thanks uc95

Regardless of the expiration date of your immigration visa it is already invalid as
you have changed your marital status without notifying visa post and without
submitting your wife's application and related documents. You must return it together
with your wife's application, documents and fees.

It may take anywhere from few months to about a year, depending how long it will take
for your wife's background security check to be concluded and if her medicals will be
OK without any need for additional tests.

Professional assistance in such simple matter is not needed at all, unless you
want to make sure that nothing is missing and no mistakes which may delay the
process are made.
